Seven women and youth from the Tany Cooperative from the Inhaca island, Mozambique, visited Zanzibar, Tanzania, for a six-day learning exchange in September 2025. The visit aimed to improve their skills in sustainable seaweed farming, processing, and cooperative management. Over six days, the cooperative members learned from Zanzibar's seaweed processing techniques for both food and cosmetics, alongside receiving training ranging from advanced farming methods and post-harvest techniques to women’s leadership, marketing strategies, and cooperative management.
