The Independent Steering Committee is a governing body that reports directly to the WorldFish Board of Trustees on the performance of the FISH program.

Co-funded by the European Union (EU) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), WorldFish Cambodia will be organizing a day-long Small Fish for Nutrition Final Workshop on 3 December 2019, followed by a study tour involving researchers and private sector representatives from Ghana, India, Kenya, Malawi and Zambia.
The radical shift from traditional practices of Asian aquaculture toward intensified production systems is a major trend and the sustainability of these intensified systems needs to be questioned. Ecological intensification could be a rational alternative to increase aquaculture production by maximizing the use of ecological processes and ecosystem services provided by biodiversity.
